Lipliner is a product that is also known as a lip pencil purpose is to fill in any uneven areas on the outer edges of your lips resulting in a fuller and bigger finish!
Because of the thicker consistency lip liner has it also allows your lipstick to stay long on your lips.
Things to know about lipliner before you use it
A rule of thumb is that lip liner should always be a shade darker than your lipstick: This is going to give your lips that fuller appearance too. I would recommend purchasing a lip liner that’s the closest to your natural lips and another that matches your favorite lipstick!
Lipliner also prevents lipstick from smudging: A good lip liner will ensure that your lips don’t smudge!

How do I use lip liner?
- Apply chapstick before applying lip liner, this is going to help the lipliner seamlessly glide onto your lips.
- Grab your lipliner and use the pencil to follow the edges of your lips. You can also follow this photo to achieve the type of shape you’re going for! For beginners through shape an M above your natural lip line. Make sure to take your time, and don’t overline!
- After doing your top lip now it’s time for your bottom one! Start by slowly drawing a line along the middle of your bottom lip, working your way to the sides.
- Once you’re done lining your lips, grab your lipstick. Apply the lipstick as you normally would on top of the lipliner.
- If you need to clean up your lips with a cutip to ensure a clean and precise finish!
