The Elf Halo Glow has been ALL over the internet, but is it worth the hype?! I purchased this product, and here is the honest review you’ve been waiting for!
What Is The Elf Halo Glow?!
The Elf Halo Glow mainly went viral for it’s similarity to the VIRAL Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter! This is a product that can be worn multiple ways, from under foundation, to alone, mixed with your makeup, or as a highlighter. The Elf Halo Glow works with all skin types too.
The 3 key ingredients listed on the Elf Website are that it’s composed of Sqauline and Hyaluronic Acid which both help with providing hydration to the skin. The last ingredient is finely milled powders, which contribute to softening the appearance of lines and pores to give you a healthy and even appearance.
This has a pretty good shade range, especially for darker skin tones! I always check to make sure there’s inclusivity for all skin tones, and this passes the test.
From their website: “All e.l.f. products are free from phthalates, parabens, nonylphenol ethoxylates, triclosan, triclocarban, and hydroquinone. All skincare is also free from sulfates. All e.l.f. products are cruelty free and vegan.”
First Impressions
The first thing off the bat was that I got the wrong shade! It wasn’t too bad, but definitely, a good 2-3 shades off. The pictures on the site did not match or maybe I accidentally clicked on the wrong one to buy? Anyways, I had to mix it with my concealer to fix it but that’s my fault, not the company’s!
Pretty packaging: I love the glass packaging, definitely more sustainable and durable compared to using plastic packaging. Also, the glass is sturdy and thick so it won’t break without some force.
Easy To Use: VERY easy to use and I absolutely LOVE how the applicator is a larger version of the Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer. If you’ve been following this blog for a while you’ll know how much I love that applicator, it’s my favorite!
VERY Pretty: SOOO skin-like! I was shocked the first time I used it, looks exactly like your skin but glowing and better looking. If you’re thinking this is going to give you tons of coverage…definitely not! It works exactly how it states, it’ll cover a few blemishes but that’s it. If you want a beautiful glowing base, use this under the foundation.
Glitter: There is some glitter in this! It’s not that noticeable, but a subtle glow definitely appears when it’s on you.
Long-lasting: The first day I wore this out, it was raining! I was shocked to discover how well it held up in the weather. Normally, when I wear other coverage products out, my skin is super oily by the end of the day but this looked pretty much the same as when my makeup was done.

YES!
Normally, I have some cons to say about the product but this honestly is one of my favorite products I have ever tried! It’s so easy to use, feels weightless, and looks flawless. This product also blends seamlessly with ALL of my makeup all while lasting super long and not getting oily throughout the day.
Also, the way there’s a shade for everyone makes me like it even more!
