Makeup Items List For This Spring Eyeshadow Look!
Below are all the products I use, the only thing I recommend you include is the Elf Cosmetics eyeshadow palette. For everything else, use what you have!
- Elf Camo Concealer
- Elf Bite Sized Eyeshadow Palette Shade Rose WaterÂ
- Brillant Beauty Eyelash Curler
- Lash Princess Curl and Volume Mascara
Why I chose this eyeshadow palette
I absolutely love this palette, and is functional year-round! The shades are pigmented, and long-lasting, + with minimal fallout. I love how inexpensive it is, and Elf Cosmetics has also created a variety of palettes.
Let’s Get Started On The Spring Eyeshadow Look!
Where you choose to do your eyeshadow is up to you, but for this palette I’d recommend doing it whenever you feel like it. If you want to play it safe, apply before your base!
Let’s Brighten Her Up!
Not everyone has an eyeshadow base lying around, and let’s be honest (neither do I). Instead, use concealer. Concealer does a great job at illuminating everything allowing the eyeshadow to look much better.
Apply 1 dot on each eye and blend with either your finger or any fluffy eyeshadow brush.
Lock In The Base
Next, dip into the second shade which is a matte tan. Use either your finger or a small eyeshadow brush and blend all over both eyes.
This way you are creating a strong base that transitions from cream to powder eyeshadow. It also locks in the concealer.
Eyeshadow Time
Time for fun! With your eyeshadow brush Dip into the first shade with an eyeshadow brush, and make sure to get enough on the brush. To get rid of any excess shadow gently sweep the brush on the back of your hand.Â
Next, make sure to apply the eyeshadow ONLY on the beginning part of your eye. Photo above. If you apply past that it will result in an uneven (not so pretty) finish. Glide the brush between the middle of your eye and stop at the middle!
Continue to do this until you’re happy with the finish.
Gradient
A gradient look is what EVERY eyeshadow look needs! Dip into the dark pink shade and apply from the middle to the end of your lid with the eyeshadow brush. For a darker effect add more force when bringing it back and forth.Â
Curl Lashes + Mascara
You’re not done, but it’s time to curl lashes and apply mascara! I love the Brillant Beauty Eyelash Curler w/ Lash Princess Curl and Volume.
Follow the steps below for a long-lasting lash curl:
- Grab your lash curler and start pumping your lashes. Hold down for 10 seconds, during this duration pump them at least 5 times!
- Remove, and repeat the process on that same eye 2 more times. Once you’re done don’t move on to the next lash, you want to pay attention to them one at a time.
- After, grab a lash primer! This is the secret hack for getting your lashes to stay up ALL day rain or shine. Apply a small amount of primer, not too much otherwise you can risk getting flaky eyelashes.
- Let the primer dry for about 30 seconds, then apply mascara. The trick to getting the best results from your mascara is to make funny faces!
- You’re done! It’s really that simple, repeat the process on your other eye!

Tie It Together
Finally the last step, you’re almost done! In order to tie the look together it’s crucial to apply the eyeshadow on the bottom as well.
To do so, grab the same brush you were using and apply the lighter pink shade from the beginning of your eye to the middle. Once you’re done, get the darker pink shade and do the same thing. Start at the middle and apply till the end.
