Hi loves! Eyeshadow can be a tricky thing, especially for makeup beginners. Today, I’m going to walk you through a simple eyeshadow look that is perfect for beginners. The look revolves a lot around bronzer and highlighter which makes it ideal for either day or night. Bronzer is also super easy to dress up, making it a versatile look.

What You’ll Need
- Bronzer: Use your everyday bronzer! You do not need some expensive bronzer, whatever you normally use is perfect. I’m using the Hourglass Bronzer in the shade Ambient, it’s beautiful and perfect for use as eyeshadow.
- Highlighter: Next up, highlighter! The same thing, use whatever you usually use. Gold contrasts beautifully with bronzer so I’d recommend that.
- Eyeshadow brush: An eyeshadow look really revolves around the brushes that you use! If you’re having trouble finding high-quality makeup brushes at an affordable price try out DuCare Brushes or Elf Cosmetics. Either are a great option and works amazingly.
- Kajal: You don’t have to use this but I’d recommend it for a little pop! My all-time favorite Kajal that outranks everything else is the Loreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner.
- Lash Curler + Mascara
Let’s get into it!
Follow the steps below for stunning results!
Start clean: Have nothing on your eye for a clean finish. Grab your bronzer and eyeshadow brush.
Apply Bronzer: With the bronzer on your brush move it back and forth from the middle of your eye to the end. Don’t apply any bronzer on the beginning because it will ruin the gradient effect we’re going for!
Now it’s time for highlighter! Apply it from the beginning to the middle of your eye to keep the gradient look in check.
Curl Lashes + Mascara: Next up curl lashes and apply mascara. Do this how you like, but if you need some guidance for a long-lasting lash curl check out our guide!
Kajal: You can be done, but if you’d like a pop add Kajal! Kajal is a black waterline and creates a stunning contrast, especially with the bronzer. Glide the pencil along your eye and then you’re done!
