What Is The Caudalie Facial Mist??
This is a facial mist that works as a setting spray too! It went viral for it’s ability to instantly give you hydrated, glowing skin. Who doesn’t love that? Also, it’s not that pricey if you get the travel sized!
First impressions
The thing that really caught my eye when I first saw it was the packaging. It’s super unique. This is a natural facial mist that is derived from natural oils, so at the top, you’ll notice that there are tiny floating bubbles! I was thinking… is it expired? No, it’s not, it’s just the oils! Before use, make sure to shake well. It’s also glass, so make sure to keep it in a safe area where it can’t fall.
The price is also super high, $50 is a lot for face mist. I opted to get the travel size, which is about $18. It’s been about a month as you can see from the photos there’s still a good amount left!
Right off the bat, this product has SUCH a strong smell. It reminds me of tea tree oil. I would not recommend it if you’re someone who has irritation to scents/sensitive skin. The thing is, I have normal/sensitive skin and it works well!
When you first apply it, make sure your eyes are closed! Do not keep them open or you’re going to start tearing up and your eyes will sting. You’ll see in this video here, that I kept them partially open and I started tearing up.
Overall it gives my skin a super glowing finish! I’m happy with the results of my makeup even though the scent is super strong.
Things to know before using it
The weird thing about my skin is that it does not react well to facial moisturizers! I’ve found this to be hydrating enough for me with nothing under it and my skin feels fine the rest of the day. If you use a gentle moisturizer I think you’ll be fine!
Of course, everyone’s skin is different but something to keep in mind.
How to use
- Skin Prep: After washing your face and applying a gentle moisturizer, let that sit for a minute.
- Application: With your eyes closed spray evenly across your face till you feel your skin is hydrated enough to hydrate your skin and apply makeup.

Do I think you should buy it??
It depends!
It’s tricky because how everyone’s skin is different. You should think about how your skin might react. If you have sensitive skin, skip it. If you think your skin can handle it try it out! It might be your new favorite.
In my opinion, this gives me the best base I’ve EVER had! I really do love the cool feeling this mist gives my skin, and how nicely it sits under makeup. The travel size is more than enough for me too, and I use it every day.
Considering the price I feel like it’s super expensive! Are other facial mists for a fraction of the price that work just as well? Yes, there definitely are. If you’re looking for a product to give you a dose of daily luxury then this is a product worth considering.
