What is it?
This illuminating powder mainly went viral for how it contained glitter in it! I finally found it in stock at my local drugstore and decided to snatch the last one left! If you didn’t know, illuminating powder reduces oil and shine while also giving you a super bright effect. It’s great for those who want a bright and flawless finish!
First impressions
- Secure packaging: This has super good secure packaging you definitely won’t have to worry about it spilling everywhere!!
- GLITTER: The glitter is just SO pretty and the perfect amount, not too much but not too little. Also, It’s white glitter! It’s not going to affect the overall finish of your makeup but adds a subtle but noticeable shimmer.
- LOTS: A little goes a SUPER long way. I only dip my brush in twice for both sides of my face, and I’m all ready.
- Slider: This is SO helpful, and I have not seen this in other powders but there’s a little plastic slider in the packaging to control the fallout! This makes it extra secure, love this idea.

How To Use
**Make sure you’re in good, natural lighting when doing this in order to not overdo it!
- Make sure all of your makeup is done! Grab a fluffy brush, like the one above, and your powder.
- Dip the brush into the product until you’ve got enough on.
- Slowly start to press the powder into the inner parts of your face, to create a super bright effect. (ex: by your eyes, a little bit on both sides for your nose, chin, etc.)
- Keep applying till you’re satisfied with the results!
Is it worth the hype??
YES! I don’t think there are any negatives about this product, it’s so good! Honestly, this is a new staple for me and gives such an airbrushed finish that I don’t know if I could continue makeup without it! Definitely try it out, if you’re looking to switch up your look.
Also, I’ve noticed that you look much more awake when using this! It’s super great and ensures you have a bright undereye!
