Highlighter is a product that gives your face a glowing finish. It’s a shimmery product that is applied to the face. It comes in both liquid and powder forms but is most commonly used in powder form too. Highlighter is very easy to use and gives your skin a bright and rejuvenated glow like no other product can!
It’s good to apply a highlighter where your face naturally catches light, in other words, the high points of your face. Let’s go over exactly where that is!
How to determine which highlighter is best for your skin!
Olive and deeper skin tones can opt for golden, and peachier hues!
Lighter skin tones can look at silver and rosy hues.
Also, if you have oily skin looking into a powder highlighter is a great option while those with dry skin should look into dewier, liquid highlighters but can also use powder highlight.

How do I apply highlighter?
It’s fairly simple, grab a highlighter brush it looks like this:
- Dab the brush into the highlighter palette, if you think you’ve picked up too much highlighter hit the brush against the pallet and any additional fallout will come out.
- On your cheek above your blush: This will give your skin a dewy and bright glow pretty awesome right?
- Lightly apply some highlighter on the tip of your nose, you can also apply a bit on the bridge of your nose.
- Right below the brow bone: This is going to give your eyes a bigger appearance, while also giving them a defined look. Also, it’s best to use a smaller, more defined brush when doing this area.
- A tiny bit on the cupid’s bow: This can actually give your lips a fuller and plumper appearance!
- Inner Corners: For those of you who really love highlighter this is for you! You can apply a little bit of highlighter on your inner corners to give your eyes a subtle glow.
- The center of your chin: This is for those with an oval or longer shape face, if you want to round it a bit, applying a bit of a highlighter on your chin can help you with achieving that.
