I was scrolling on TikTok the other day, and Huda popped up on my For You Page trying this hack! The instructions are basically in the name, it’s super easy and should only take you a minute to try.
Materials
Highlighter: I recommend gold highlighter for best results + it will show up more! The one I used for this is the Loreal LUMI Shimmerista.
Brush: Definitely the most important part. Make sure to use a brush that is small and precise. Photo above! The one I am using is by Ducare and it’s number 128.
Lipgloss: One that is slightly tinted/clear will work best. I used the Patrick Ta Lipgloss in shade FULL SYRINGE.
Lipstick: Any lipstick you prefer works! The one I’m going to be using is by Elf Cosmetics in shade
Instructions
First, make sure you have nothing on your lips before starting. Grab your highlighter and brush. Dip the brush in the highlighter and start to lightly line your lips with it! Make sure to only line the outer parts, and feel free to clean up with a napkin if you mess up.
** This is me adding my own spin on this and it looks SUPER good!* After you’ve lined your lips grab your lipstick and gently blot your lips with it making sure to avoid where the highlighter is. Not too harsh, but enough to leave a pretty tint under the gloss!
Finally, we’re onto the gloss part! Grab that gloss and apply it over your lips, you’re done!
This is such a fun way to switch up lipliner. Your lips still look full and defined, I definitely recommend it!
