The internet is certainly good at one thing, and that’s hyping up a product! Today I will be reviewing one that I’ve read about thousands of times over the past few years and that’s the Telescopic Mascara by Loreal. Let’s get into it, and see if this product is really worth the hype or not.

What’s Listed On Website About Mascara!
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I love visiting brand websites and reading about the benefits and ingredients of their products. Doing so is a great way to gain a better understanding of the product.
Here are some features of a specific mascara:
- Provides precise application with intense length
- Claims to give you 60% longer lashes
- Fragrance-free
- Features a precision brush lash comb
- Suitable for those with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers
My Thoughts
- Length: The one positive thing about this mascara is its lengthening effect! I will say it’s impressive. However, it’s important to use it a little bit at a time, otherwise, it turns into a clumpy mess. If you’re someone who loves spider lashes, then this is the mascara for you. Your lashes will look insanely long!
- Volume: While the lengthening effect of this mascara is amazing, there is no volume to this mascara whatsoever. It’s disappointing that for the amount you put on your lashes, there’s zero volume.
- Longevity: This ties in with what was mentioned above, but because of how much you have to apply, it weighs down the lashes causing them to fall down shortly after application.
Alternative
Consider mixing it with another mascara. However, be careful as it can result in clumpy lashes. To do it correctly, first apply a volumizing mascara to your lashes. Then, gently go over them with Telescopic mascara to lengthen them. Be sure to use a little bit, otherwise it’ll clump.
Another option is to use a mascara primer. This can help your lashes hold up longer and even reduce the amount of mascara you need to use.
Overall Thoughts
While I personally wouldn’t use it, if you love the look of super-long lashes that have no volume, go for it! Otherwise, I recommend avoiding it. I really wanted to love it and tried different things to make it work, but sometimes products just don’t deliver. And that’s okay! If you’re looking for a similar mascara, I highly recommend the Loreal Lash Sensational. It provides both great volume and length, and your lashes will stay lifted all day long.
