Skin Prep
Skin prep is super important before applying ANY makeup! Skin prep allows for a fresh and clean base before doing your makeup. If you need a refresher on what skin prep entails it’s the following: Wash your face, apply moisturizer, SPF, and if you use it primer.

Base
This look is going to be very minimal coverage, if you feel like you want to add more feel free to do so but I’m going to only go over concealer. Apply a small amount of concealer under your eyes, nose, chin, and anywhere else you like. Remember to keep it minimal!
Concealer I use: Elf Hydrayting Camo Concealer
Blush
When you think of winter, you probably don’t think of bronzer so we will be skipping it! When I was thinking about this look, bronzer totally ruined it.
Instead, grab a matte blush! Preferably cream blush, because it provides a flush of color with no shimmer. It’s perfect for this type of makeup look! Try to find either a pink, red, or purple-toned blush.
I’m going to use the Elf Cosmetics Putty Blush in shade “Bora Bora” (Pink toned) and mix it with the Rare Beauty “Nearly Berry” blush (purple/red toned).
Grab a blush brush, I LOVE the Elf Cosmetics Blush Brush. It’s amazing at being able to evenly spread blush. Smile, and apply on the apples of your cheeks. Pro Tip: Think back and remember how your cheeks react to being cold, and try to recreate that! Make sure to take your time so everything can be evenly blended.
Once you’re done with your cheeks, apply some on your nose. You will look way “colder” with the blush on your nose. Lock that blush in with some powder blush, I use the Wet N Wild in shade “Flash Me”
Highlighter
This part made SUCH a huge effect on the look! Highlighter often tends to be goldens but we’re going to go in the opposite direction towards silver. I don’t have any silver highlighter so I’m using mine from the Dior Face Palette, but another alternative that’s cheaper is Highlight Reloaded in shade “Set the Tone” by Makeup Revolution
With a fluffy brush apply to the following places:
- The tip of your nose, and use the rest along the rest of your nose.
- Both cheeks, right above your blush
- Cupid’s bow
- Chin

Eyes
It’s important for you to focus on how the eyes with this look. I went ALL out for my eyes, to give the most frosty, cold vibe ever here’s how I did it!
Apply concealer onto eyelids: This is going to give you the most bright and even base for your eyeshadow.
Shimmer: FENTY Beauty How Many Carats?! This is a transparent silver eyeshadow, and it’s the perfect eyeshadow for this look. Apply evenly onto your lids.
Curl lashes: Now, curl your lashes I recommend using the Brillant Beauty Eyelash Curler. This keeps my lashes long and up all day with volume.
Mascara: Mascara time! Use a mascara you love, and spend time when you’re applying it.
NYX Eyeshadow Stick: Give the mascara a moment to dry. Once dry, apply some of the NYX Jumbo Stick in either shade “Milk” or “Cottage Cheese” on the inner corners of your eyes.
Powder
Finally, the look is coming to the end to tie it all together it’s time for powder. Grab the face powder you normally use to mattify your skin. If you don’t have one and are looking for a good one, I recommend either Elf Cosmetics Illuminating Powder or Kosas Cloud Set Powder. Both work very well!
Apply the powder in the following areas: Also, keep in mind when applying powder make sure to use a large stiff brush. Photo above.
- Under eyes
- Around nose
- Chin
- Anywhere else you know gets oily.

Lips
Lip time! I got pretty creative with it, and it actually looks super good.
- Blot a bold color lightly all over your lips, I like to use the Elf Putty Blush in shade Carrribiean for this.
- Grab some of your silver highlighter that was used in the beginning and blot that all over your lips too.
- To make it shiny add your favorite gloss on top, personally, I love the NK Girl Lip Gel in shade Cherry.
Lock it all in
The last step is to lock it all in! Use your favorite setting spray for best results to ensure your makeup lasts all day.
